2. UK retail sales

The Office for National Statistics has attributed this to higher inflation and warmer weather.
3. Car tax
The UK government lost out on a potential £107 million from 755,000 unlicensed vehicles in the past year.
This number has tripled since the paper tax disc was abolished three years ago. The government argued that the paper disc was no longer necessary, as electronic register is now used.
