1. Corbyn Starts His Campaign Against The “Rigged System”
Jeremy Corbyn has made his first general election campaign speech, focusing on going against a “rigged system” and defying “establishment experts.”
This type of language is similar to that of Donald Trump during his successful US presidential campaign.

2. Labour Won’t Offer A Second EU Referendum
Labour’s election manifesto will not offer a second Brexit referendum. This morning started with Jeremy Corbyn not giving any clarity on the issue, while Shadow Chancellor John McDonnell refused to say yes or no to a second referendum.
However, a Corbyn spokesman has since said “A second referendum is not our policy and it won’t be in our manifesto.”
3. Douglas Carswell To Stand Down
Former UKIP MP Douglas Carswell is to stand down as MP for Clacton. Instead, he intends to vote for the Conservative candidate.
Carswell is currently an independent MP, having split from UKIP last month over divisions with the leadership.
4. Nigel Farage Undecided
Nigel Farage is undecided on whether to run as an MP during the forthcoming election.
“I’ve got to weigh up, where am I best to be in terms of having an impact on Brexit and perhaps warning the British public that it’s not going in the direction it should be,” he told the BBC.
Farage campaigned to be MP for South Thanet in 2015, but failed in his bid to be elected.
5. US Accuses Iran Of “Alarming Ongoing Provocations”
US Secretary Of State Rex Tillerson has accused Iran of “alarming ongoing provocations” designed to create tension in the middle east and impact American interests.
“An unchecked Iran has the potential to travel the same path as North Korea and to take the world along with it,” Tillerson said.
