David Harrison visits the Beacon of Light

Our founder, David Harrison, was delighted to visit the Beacon of Light in Sunderland to see for himself how work is progressing. Beacon of Light is Sunderland’s most innovative sports and education facility and the first of its kind in the UK. It is set to open in summer 2018 and received a £10,000 donation from the Harrison Centre last year. During the visit, David viewed the learning space, which will become the home of the Harrison Centre, as well as the impressive 4G rooftop football pitches.
