impulseSave® – How it works within our Platform

Please note this blog post was published over 12 months ago and so may not include the most up-to-date information, for example where regulation around investing has changed.

ImpulseSave® – Invest in Seconds

At True Potential we strive to put our clients at the forefront of everything we do. That’s why we created our world-first and unique top-up technology impulseSave®, which enables clients to invest in seconds from as little as £1.

Tied to our goal-first investment philosophy, impulseSave® not only helps clients to reach their goals early, but also calculates an investor’s ‘gap to goal’ and suggests an amount to get them back on track if they fall behind.

With impulseSave®, we’re using technology to break down some of the key barriers to investing by making it possible for clients to top-up their account any time, on impulse, from a single pound.

What’s more, investors can top up small amounts into funds and portfolios normally reserved for ultra-high net worth clients.

With a touch of a button online or by mobile app, a client’s impulseSave® can be spread across over 200,000 global holdings as part of our True Potential Portfolios.

Since its launch, over £100 million has been invested through impulseSave® with 33% of top ups, under £10 – showing that we’re successfully changing the habits of spenders into savers.

We built this pioneering technology in-house, with our team of over 35 developers who focus on creating products starting with what the client wants and expects. The team then work backwards to create technology which is both unique and valuable to the client.

Underlying the success of impulseSave® is the True Potential Platform, which enables us to seamlessly process every impulseSave®, display instant feedback to clients and help investors reach their financial goals.

We’re excited to see what the future brings for impulseSave® and, because we own and control every part of the investor journey, we believe anything is possible.

With investing, your capital is at risk. Investments can fluctuate in value and you may get back less than you invest. Past performance is not a guide to future performance. Tax rules can change at any time. This blog is not personal financial advice.
