Tell us about your role in the re-development of tpinvestor.com?
The re-launch of True Potential Investor was very exciting for me and the rest of the Support team. This re-development allowed me to put forward my ideas on how the site and the service we offer can be improved, and I feel these ideas have really added to the overall feel and function of the new version of True Potential Investor.
What makes True Potential Investor innovative?
I think it is the ability to invest into diversified fully-managed investment portfolios. These are portfolios that work with 8 world-class fund managers, real household name such as Goldman Sachs, UBS and Allianz and spread your money across literally thousands of holdings throughout the world. You can invest into something this diversified and fully-managed from anyway upwards of £1 and manage this all online, so I think this is a really innovative service.
What are you most proud of with the new project?
I think the thing I am most proud of is the new risk assessment process. Clients may be unsure of which portfolio to choose, so answering a few questions about their attitude to risk can really help the client decide if the service is right for them and to ensure we offer a suitable portfolio.
What are the most important things to consider for first time investors?
Going back to the last question, I think it is important to think about how much risk you want to take with your investment. Your capital is at risk and you can get back less than you invest, but risk can also lead to reward, so it is one of the more important things to consider when investing.
What are you most excited about for the future of True Potential Investor?
I am looking forward to True Potential Investor growing even further and all of the challenges that will bring, but also helping new clients and the satisfaction I will gain from that experience.
