True Potential Rewards – Frequently Asked Questions

1. What is True Potential Rewards?
True Potential Rewards is an exciting feature exclusively available to our clients through their online account and app.
True Potential Rewards offers cashback deals on everyday purchases from some of your favourite brands. Whether it’s broadband, groceries, electrical, travel, food or fashion we’ve partnered with some of the UK’s biggest and most popular retailers to provide you with amazing cashback offers.
You can set up your rewards cashback to automatically be invested into your chosen Pension, ISA or General Investment Account, helping you seamlessly move closer to your financial goals. As well as setting it to automatically invest, you can withdraw your cashback to your bank account.
2. How do I use True Potential Rewards to get cashback?
Using True Potential Rewards is simple, just follow these steps.
Log into your True Potential online account or app
Online account: Click the menu box in the top left hand side corner of your page,a menu will appear, click ‘Rewards’.
App: Click the ‘Rewards’ tab on the bottom of your home page.
If this is your first time using True Potential Rewards, you may be asked to accept Terms & Conditions, and select whether you want your cashback to be auto-invested into your chosen policy.
On your Rewards Page, you will see a search bar where you can search for your favourite brands to see what cashback deals they currently have on offer.
You will also see ‘Top Picks’, ‘Trending’ and ‘Search by category’ sections where you can see examples of some of the fantastic top cash back deals we have to offer you.
Select the online shop you wish to buy from and then you will see the current cashback deals for that shop. Select ‘Get Cashback’.
You will automatically be re-directed to your chosen shop’s online website or app, where you can continue to shop as normal.
3. What happens after I make a purchase?
Once you have made a purchase, if you go back onto your True Potential Rewards page, you will see a message saying ‘Your visit to merchant has been recorded’, if you made a purchase, you will see this a pending usually within 24 hours.
4. When will I get my cashback?
The time it takes for your cashback to reach your account is dependent on the shop you have purchased from, usually you’ll be paid after the returns period of the purchased items elapses. You will be able to check the status of your cashback in your True Potential account so you can keep track of your cashback.
To see the status of your cashback, just head into the rewards section of your online account or app. Your cashback status will show in your online account and app in the rewards sections in one of the three categories:
- Your cashback will appear in the pending category usually within 24 hours of your purchase.
- This is the amount of cashback that has been confirmed by the merchant and will shortly be available for you to invest or withdraw.
- This is the total amount of cashback that is now available for you to either withdraw into your bank account or you can invest it into your chosen investment policy.
5. How can I set my cashback to be automatically invested?
You can set up your cashback to automatically be invested into a chosen policy by clicking the button on the top right-hand side and selecting ‘Manage rewards’.
You will then be asked if you would like to automatically invest into a policy, from here select ‘Yes’.
You will then be asked to select the policy which you would like your cashback to be automatically invested into.
Once you have done this, click ‘Save Changes’ at the bottom of the page and you’re all set!
6. What if one of my favourite shops isn’t on the rewards programme?
We have hundreds of the most popular shops on True Potential Rewards, but if there is one that currently isn’t on the programme, you can make a request for it to be added.
To do this, go to your rewards page and click the menu button in the corner of your online account. You can then click on ‘Request a merchant’. Simply type in the merchants name you want to request and click ‘Send Request’.
7. Why has a cashback deal changed since I last used it?
We are constantly updating our cashback deals to get the best offers for you so some of our cashback deals are time limited.
